Maybe Real Salt Lake Women just needed to wash out the sting of a 2-0 loss to Oklahoma City FC last week.

If so, they got rid of that taste in their mouths pretty well.

The RSL Women rocked Texas Spurs FC 11-0 on Friday night at Ute Soccer Field in Salt Lake City, with three goals from Collette Smith and two from Brittney Crump. In all, eight different goal-scorers put in at least one goal for the Salt Lake side, which moved to 3-2 on the Women’s Premier Soccer League season.

Smith opened the scoring in the opening minute, and the RSL Women didn’t let up from there. The former BYU standout also scored in the 20th and 61st minutes, and RSL took a 3-0 halftime lead and scored goals on the kickoff of both halves.

Crump struck in the 46th and 56th minute for RSL, which also got goals from Jeni Viernes, Roxy Tebbs, Carla Swensen, Maddy Grainger and Stacy Bair.

Even goalkeeper Becca Ritchie scored via penalty kick in the 50th minute.

Real Salt Lake Women return to WPSL play Sunday against the Fort Worth Panthers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Ute Soccer Field.

Not a bad night. 11-0 #dedicationtoeachother
