LIVE STREAM: Real Monarchs host Austin Aztex, former RSL assistant coach Dalglish

July 11th, 2015 | by Sean Walker

It’s gameday in Salt Lake City, where Real Salt Lake’s third-division affiliate Real Monarchs SLC will host the Austin Aztex at Rio Tinto Stadium in a match scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.

The Aztex are 5-8-3 on the season, tied for 10th in USL’s Western Conference, but a win in Sandy could put them within a point of the playoff line as July winds down on USL play.

The match also marks the return of former RSL assistant coach Paul Dalglish, who took the head coaching job in Austin last year prior to the Aztex’s ascension from the Premier Development League to USL.

The Aztex are unbeaten in three matches (1-0-2), with their last loss in league play coming June 14 against Portland Timbers 2.

The Monarchs (1-9-6) are still at the bottom of the West, and looking up at a nine-point gap behind the next team.

The Monarchs will also be without leading scorer Max Rauhofer, who is suspended on yellow-card accumulation.

Can’t make it to the match? We’ve got you covered; watch the match via the live stream embedded above, or on Real Monarchs’ YouTube channel. We’ll be back after the final whistle for a full recap of the evening.
