LIVE STREAM: BYU Soccer takes on Harpo’s FC in U.S. Open Cup first round

May 13th, 2015 | by Sean Walker

For the first time since 2007, the BYU men’s soccer team is back in the U.S. Open Cup.

The Cougars, who qualified as one of the top teams in the Premier Development League’s Mountain Division last year, will face U.S. Specialty Sports Association amateur side Harpo’s FC from Denver, Colorado at 7:30 p.m. at South Field in Provo.

Harpo’s won a play-in match against KC Athletic, downing the Kansas City side 2-0 at Dick’s Sporting Good Park’s practice fields a week ago. The winner will travel to Colorado Springs to face Switchbacks FC of the third-division USL.

You can watch the evening’s affair via the embedded video stream above (or if you prefer, on BYU Soccer’s YouTube page here). We’ll have a full match report as soon as it is over on saltcityfc.com.
